Apartment close to Downtown with Modern Furnishings

Positive: Lovely furnished apartment that was just a short drive from the city centre. Easy to access (we used an app that unlocked all the doors for us, which came easy to me but may be a bit more complicated for the older generation), great roof terrace, had everything we needed to cook, and the couch that my friend slept on was very comfortable. Was occasionally noisy outside but nothing too disruptive.

Poor responses from the host. The DOOR app got us locked out Positive: The location was good. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Nice fluffy towels. Allowed us for a late checkout but it turned into a fiasco. Negative: The kitchen pans were old and worn. The nonstick was all scraped. Coffee was stale. Condiments were non existing and some were expired. We got a late checkout, but after we came back from having some coffee the DOOR app had expired and we were locked out. We tried to get in touch with the host, but didn’t get any response for more than 1/2 an hour. Called booking.com and they also could not get in touch with the host. We had to leave to catch our flight and were getting worried. Called the host a few times and it went to voicemail. Luckily the apartment maintenance guy just came out of the apartment and we explained to him what happened. He recognized us as we met him a few times. He let us in and we averted a major fiasco if we could not get into the apartment. Oh, we also didn’t get the apartment on time.

Positive: Shower had great water pressure! Negative: Window blinds were a little rough.
